showers mainly west of a Tulsa to McAlester line and also south of 

I44 and east of the Muskogee Turnpike. The precipitation was 

heaviest in Mcintosh and Muskogee counties in Oklahoma. The 

precipitation was in the Tulsa area. Movement was to the northeast 

at greater than 40 mph. . Intensity decreased during the last hour. 

The Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and into this 

evening, occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms with heavy 

rainfall and temperatures 53 to 61 degrees along with northeast 

winds 5 to 10 mph.
