showers mostly west of a Bartlesville to McAlester line, also south 

of I44 and east of the Muskogee Turnpike and also in Arkansas west 

of I49. The precipitation was heaviest in Mcintosh, Cherokee and 

Muskogee counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the northeast at 

greater than 40 mph. . Intensity increased during the last hour. The 

Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and early this evening, 

occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall 

and temperatures 52 to 61 degrees along with northeast winds 5 to 10 

mph.
