showers and thunderstorms generally northwest of a line from Hugo to 

Fayetteville and also in Arkansas east of I49. The precipitation was 

heaviest in Nowata and Pawnee counties in Oklahoma. The 

precipitation was in the Tulsa and Bentonville, Rogers and 

Fayetteville areas. Movement was to the northeast at greater than 40 

mph. . Intensity decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area 

forecast for late tonight and early this morning, occasional showers 

and a chance of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and temperatures 

53 to 63 degrees along with east winds 5 to 10 mph.
