showers and thunderstorms generally west of a Bartlesville to 

McAlester line. Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located 

in Washington, Nowata and Rogers counties in Oklahoma. The 

precipitation was in the Tulsa area. Movement was to the northeast 

at greater than 40 mph. . Intensity increased during the last hour. 

The Tulsa area forecast for late this morning and early this 

afternoon, occasional showers with thunderstorms likely with heavy 

rainfall and temperatures 57 to 66 degrees along with southeast 

winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 30 mph shifting to the 

southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 35 mph.
