showers and thunderstorms mainly east of a line from Bartlesville to 

McAlester. Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in 

Craig, Ottawa and Nowata counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was 

in the Tulsa area. Movement was to the northeast at greater than 40 

mph. . Coverage and intensity remained about the same as last hour. 

The Tulsa area forecast for this afternoon, a chance of showers and 

thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and temperatures 61 to 68 degrees 

along with southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 35 mph.
