showers and thunderstorms over much of eastern Oklahoma and 

northwest Arkansas and also north of I44. The precipitation was 

heaviest in Craig and Okfuskee counties in Oklahoma and Carroll 

county in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Tulsa and 

Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville areas. Movement was to the 

northeast at greater than 40 mph. . Coverage and intensity decreased 

during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this morning 

and into this afternoon, occasional showers and a chance of 

thunderstorms with heavy rainfall and temperatures 51 to 56 degrees 

along with north winds 5 to 10 mph.
