1. Very poor visibility is expected in fog between Cape Columbine and

   Stillbaai, clearing from north-west while spreading eastward during

   the morning towards Plettenberg Bay becoming good by mid-period, and

   again between Algoe Bay and East London from the evening.



2. Moderate visibility in showers and rain is expected in places between

   Cape St Lucia and Maputo at times as well as over the Mozambique

   channel in places in the south-west at first and in the north.

CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : E to SE 05 to 15.

VIS      : Good.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 10 becoming variable 05 to 10 south of Luderitz

           and to then north, NE 05 to 15 from mid-period but S 05 to 15

           north of Charlottenfelder towards the end of the period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.0m south of Charlottenfelder at first, with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : Variable 05 to 10 but E to SE 05 to 15kt south of

           Hondeklipbaai becoming NW 05 to 10kt north of Cape Point by

           end of period.

VIS      : Good, but very poor in fog south of Cape Columbine and

           clearing from the north by mid-period.

SEA STATE: 2.0m, with SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : N to NE 5 to 15 east of Plettenberg Bay at first, otherwise W

           to NW  5 to 15, but W to SW 10 to 20 west of Plettenberg Bay

           spreading east, reaching East London towards mid-period while

           becoming E to NE 10 to 20 west of Mossel Bay, spreading to

           Port Alfred in the evening and East London by the end of

           period.

VIS      : Good, very poor in fog west of Plettenberg Bay, clearing by

           mid-period and again between Algoa Bay and East London from

           the evening.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m, with SW swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : N to NE 10 to 20,reaching 25 in places. It will become S to SW

           05 to 15 south of Coffee Bay from mid-period, spreading to

           Durban by the end of the period.

VIS      : Moderate in showers and rain in places north of Cape St Lucia

           at times, otherwise good.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m with SW swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15 reaching 20 in the south-east at first.

VIS      : Good, otherwise moderate in showers and thundershowers in

           places south-west at first and in the north.

SEA STATE: 3.0m in the extreme south-east at first, with S to SE swell.
