An ice jam above the mouth of the Fortymile River remains in 

place and is likely to continue eroding from the downstream side as 

water levels at Dawson are gradually increasing. The ice jam below 

Calico Bluff cleared overnight. Eagle and other locations along the 

Yukon that currently have open water can expect ice runs and rising 

water levels when this upstream jam releases. No flooding is expected

at Eagle. This hydrologic outlook will expire at noon on May 5 and 

not be continued unless there is a change in the condition of the 

Canadian ice jam.
