AFTERNOON FOR CENTRAL CLARK COUNTY...



At 306 PM PDT, Gauge reports indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 

rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 

to begin shortly.



HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing

         flash flooding.



SOURCE...Gauges reported.



IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings,

         creeks, normally dry washes and roads.



Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...

  Henderson, Boulder City, Lake Las Vegas, Las Vegas Bay, Sam Boyd 

  Stadium, Green Valley, East Las Vegas, Railroad Pass, Las Vegas 

  Bay Campground, Boulder Beach and Boulder Beach Campground.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.
