...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON MST TODAY...



* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.



* WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the 

  following county, Maricopa.



* WHEN...Until noon MST.



* IMPACTS...FCDMC posted social media video of flowing water from 

  Skunk Creek over 69th Ave.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

  - At 945 AM MST, emergency management reported heavy rain in

    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or

    expected to begin shortly. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has

    fallen.

  - This includes the following streams and drainages...

    New River and Skunk Creek.

  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...

    Phoenix, Glendale and Arrowhead Mall.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 

deaths occur in vehicles.



Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 

enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
