portions of the district. Expect southwest gusts up to 50 mph in 

these areas combined with minimum humidity of 15-20% this afternoon 

in these areas. Gusty winds persist on Monday as conditions turn 

cooler, with chances for mountain snow and valley rain showers 

Monday through Tuesday with the arrival of a late season storm.

Strong and gusty winds continue through this evening across the

Tahoe Basin with gusts up to 50 mph along with minimum humidity 

as low as 20-30% this afternoon. Breezy southwest winds with gusts

of 20-25 mph expected this afternoon for lower western Sierra 

foothills. Breezy winds persist on Monday as conditions turn 

cooler, with chances for light showers and high elevation mountain

snow showers early this week. There is a 10-30% chance of 

thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday, mainly in the mountains.
