 terrain in the Bay Area expected to receive wetting rains. Strong 

and gusty onshore winds are expected through Tuesday with widespread

 gusts of 20-30mph, up to 40 mph in higher terrain and through gaps 

and passes. There's around a 10% chance for thunderstorms today into

 tomorrow. Warming and drying trend kicks off Wednesday.

A surface cold front will bring light to moderate  rain showers

arriving along the North Coast late this afternoon,   before move

east and southeast across the CWA this evening through the day on

Monday. Breezy to windy south- southwest winds late this afternoon

into Monday, with 20 to 35 mph at low elevations  and 35 to 45 mph

at high elevations. There is a slightly chance (<15%) of isolated

thundertorms nearshore early Monday. A drying and warming trend will

start Tuesday with dry weather likely  mid-week.
