...STRONG SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE CARIBBEAN WATERS...



Around 2 AM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong showers with 

isolated thunderstorms at the coastal and offshore Caribbean 

Waters of Puerto Rico (and also near Vieques and St. Croix) 

capable of producing winds to around 20 to 30 knots and occasional

lightning strikes. These thunderstorms are expected to continue 

moving generally eastward & northeastward at around 10 knots.
