At 1045 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, 

capable of producing winds over 35 knots. These thunderstorms were 

located along a line extending from 44 nm south of Traverse City to 

51 nm southwest of Linwood to 41 nm east of Saugatuck Pier Heads, 

moving east at 50 knots.

  Sebewaing and Gravelly Shoals around 1150 PM EDT.

  Caseville around 1205 AM EDT.

  Port Austin around 1215 AM EDT.

  Port Hope and Harbor Beach around 1225 AM EDT.

  White Rock around 1230 AM EDT.



Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include White Rock,

Richmondville, and Bay Port.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds in excess of 34

knots, and is likely to pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special

marine warning will likely be required when these strong

thunderstorms reach the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider

heading for shore before these strong thunderstorms arrive.
