At 1054 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 16 nm west of Passage Island Light to 7 nm southeast

of Mott Island Park Headquarters to 23 nm southwest of The Central

Lake Superior Buoy to 8 nm northwest of Brockway Mountain, moving

northeast at 45 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

The Central Lake Superior Buoy, Passage Island Light, and Mott Island

Park Headquarters.
