Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to Portage Canal

MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle Royale

National Park...

Lake Superior from Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou Island

MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian Border...



At 1126 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 7 nm northwest of Passage Island Light to 15 nm east

of Mott Island Park Headquarters to 8 nm southwest of The Central

Lake Superior Buoy to 18 nm northeast of Brockway Mountain, moving

northeast at 20 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

The Central Lake Superior Buoy, Passage Island Light, and Mott Island

Park Headquarters.
