Michigan.

Lake Michigan South of a line from Seul Choix Point to the Mackinac

Bridge and North of a line from Charlevoix MI to South Fox Island 5NM

offshore...

Norwood MI to 5NM West of Mackinac Bridge including Little Traverse

Bay...

Sleeping Bear Point to Grand Traverse Light MI...



At 1218 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts

were located along a line extending from 18 nm southwest of Point

Patterson to near Beaver Island to 10 nm east of South Fox Island,

moving north at 30 knots.



HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small 

         hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Norwood, Harbor Springs, Good Hart, Beaver Island, Big Rock Point,

Charlevoix, The Mouth Of Little Traverse Bay, and Petoskey.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
