At 731 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts

were located along a line extending from 6 nm north of Fortesque

Beach to near Brandywine Shoal Light to near Bethany Beach, moving

southeast at 70 knots.



HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 

         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Atlantic City, Five Fathoms Buoy, Buoy 2fb, Brown Shoal Light, Buoy

4fb, Buoy 3fb, Cape Henlopen, East Point, Miah Maull Light, Great Egg

Bridge, Overfalls Shoal, The Lump, 28-

Mile Wreck, Brigantine, Bethany Beach, Cross Ledge Light, and

Atlantic City Reef.
