For the following areas...

Inner waters from Point Mugu to San Mateo Pt. CA including Santa

Catalina and Anacapa Islands...

Outer waters from Santa Cruz Island to San Clemente Island to 60 NM

offshore including San Nicolas and Santa Barbara Islands...



At 739 AM PDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 17 nm northeast of Ventura Harbor to 6 nm east of

Point Mugu, moving northeast at 20 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
