The cluster of severe thunderstorms have moved out of the area and

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CDT...



For the following areas...

Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20

NM...



At 1105 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of

producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 21 nm

southeast of Chandeleur Sound to 31 nm east of Breton Sound, moving

east at 5 knots.



HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage 

         vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves. 

         Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



A cluster of severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open

waters.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Boaters should avoid waterspouts and never try to navigate near them.

Move to safe harbor or shelter immediately until the threat passes.
