Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Ocean Reef to west end of

Seven Mile Bridge out 20 nm...

Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon

Shoal out 60 nm...

Bayside and Gulf side from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile

Bridge...

Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood

Sound...

Straits of Florida from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile Bridge 20

to 60 nm out...



At 741 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a 

strong line of thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 

30 knots. This line of thunderstorms was located along a line 

extending from near North Nest Key to 22 nm southeast of Wood's Wall 

East Crack, moving east to southeast at 10 knots.



Locations that will be affected include...

Coon Key, Buttonwood Sound, Mosquito Bank Light, Tavernier Creek,

Tennessee Reef Light, Twin Keys, and Cotton Key.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally

rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and

potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as

safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
