Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood

Sound...



At 242 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a

strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.

This thunderstorm was located near North Nest Key, moving northeast

at 20 knots.



Locations that will be affected include...

Buttonwood Sound, Key Largo Dry Rocks, Dusenberry Creek, Grouper

Creek, Tarpon Basin, Blackwater Sound, and North Nest Key.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally

rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and

potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
