Through 10 am, widely scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms 

will move primarily northwest through the nearshore waters of the 

Lower Keys, and the deep Gulf waters. The stronger of the activity 

is capable of blinding downpours, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and 

occasional lightning strikes. Island communities of the Lower Keys 

may see an addtional few tenths of an inch in rainfall.
