Through 500 am, scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm or 

two will continue to develop and decay as they move north to

northeastward at near 10 knots across the Florida Keys and coastal 

waters south of the Island Chain. Mariners encountering the stronger

activity, currently southeast of the Upper Keys in the Florida

Straits, can expect heavy downpours reducing visibilities, wind 

gusts of 20 to 25 knots, and a lightning strike or two.
