A cold front will approach from the NW Fri night and move S over the N and central waters Fri night through Sat, then over the S waters later Sat and Sat niight. A coastal trough will persist along much of California through early Fri night then weaken through early Sat. The coastal trough will redevelop and expand along the entire coast Sat night through Mon while strengthening especially over the central and S areas and persisting through Tue night.
