...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled for later this evening in 

Atlantic County, NJ...



The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly NJ will conduct a 

storm survey later today for the area near Folsom and Hammonton. The 

survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through 

the area earlier today. A final assessment including results of the 

survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public 

Information Statement by later this evening.

...NOAA WEATHER RADIO WXL81 OFFLINE SUNDAY MAY 18TH...



The NOAA Weather Radio transmitter WXL81 near Jamestown will be 

offline on Sunday May 18th due to maintenance to the tower that

the transmitter is located on. Maintenance is expected to begin 

Sunday morning around 10 AM and should last around 4-6 hours. You 

may want to find another way to receive warnings and forecasts  

Sunday if you are in an area covered by this transmitter.
