A cold front will enter central South Dakota Wednesday afternoon and push eastward through the state through the night. There are lighter southerly winds near the frontal boundary this morning with winds coming from the northwest after the front moves through central and eastern SD. There are also increasing chances for showers and storms as the front moves into central South Dakota this afternoon. The precipitation will likely become more widespread as the front moves through the area this evening into the day Thursday.
