Runoff from rainfall is causing river levels to rise rapidly on the

Flint River. Although it is not expected to reach flood stage, some

nuisance flooding of lowlands may still occur.



The Flint River at Brownsboro.

* At 1:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.1 feet.

* Action stage is 15.0 feet.

* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* Forecast...The river is expected to crest between 15.5 and 16.0

  feet this morning.

* Impact...At 15.0 feet...Water begins to flood the downstream left

  bank.





All persons with interests along the river should monitor the latest

forecasts, and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect

life and property from rising river levels.Additional information is
