The Tallapoosa River at The Tallapoosa Water Plant. * At 7:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 7.3 feet. * Action stage is 15.0 feet. * Flood stage is 25.0 feet. * Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.7 feet Tuesday evening. * Impact...At 15.0 feet...Low areas near the junction with the Coosa River begin to overflow. Extensive flooding of low lying areas begins between US 231 and the river at stages of 15 to 25 feet. The Alabama River at Montgomery. * At 7:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.4 feet. * Action stage is 26.0 feet. * Flood stage is 35.0 feet. * Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.6 feet Tuesday evening. * Impact...At 26.0 feet...Some flooding of low lying areas and secondary roads begins in the Montgomery area. Flooding of the golf course at Maxwell Air Force Base and portions of River Road occurs at stages around 30 feet and higher.
