It will then fall to 12.3 feet early Monday morning. It will rise to 15.6 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. * Impact...At 15.0 feet...Low areas near the junction with the Coosa River begin to overflow. Extensive flooding of low lying areas begins between US 231 and the river at stages of 15 to 25 feet. Another statement will be issued by Sunday evening, or sooner if conditions warrant.
