The Alabama River at Montgomery. * At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 25.7 feet. * Action stage is 26.0 feet. * Flood stage is 35.0 feet. * Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.3 feet early Thursday morning. * Impact...At 26.0 feet...Some flooding of low lying areas and secondary roads begins in the Montgomery area. Flooding of the golf course at Maxwell Air Force Base and portions of River Road occurs at stages around 30 feet and higher.
