.SYNOPSIS...Some lingering showers remain possible today as a

trough of low pressure departs the region and high pressure begins

to build. Low clouds this morning will begin to thin out later

this afternoon. Expect light to moderate southwesterly winds this

afternoon. Skies will clear overnight and there will be mostly 

clear conditions on Thursday and Friday with light and variable

winds. Daytime high temperatures increase as well, with highs on

Thursday at least 10 degrees warmer than today.
