The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Southern Biscayne Bay...

  Coastal waters from Pinecrest to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...



* Until 730 PM EDT.



* At 647 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near Convoy Point to Turkey Point to near Card

  Sound, moving east at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Soldier Key, Convoy Point, Card Sound, Turkey Point, Biscayne Bay,

  Pacific Reef, Elliott Key, Triumph Reef, and Black Point.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.



Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily

overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor

immediately.
