  Beyond 5NM from shore...

  Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off

  shore to the US/Canadian border...



* Until 215 AM EDT.



* At 113 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 16 nm southeast of The Eastern Lake Superior Buoy to

  25 nm northeast of Grand Sable Dunes to near Muskallonge State

  Park, moving east at 15 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.
