* Special Marine Warning for...

  Chesapeake Bay from Drum Point MD to Smith Point VA...

  Tangier Sound and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth

  Island...

  Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA...



* Until 715 PM EDT.



* At 551 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near Wicomico River to Coltons Point to near Nomini

  Bay, moving east at 45 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly 

           higher wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could 

           suffer significant damage in high winds.



* Locations impacted include...

  Ewell, Point Lookout, Tangier Sound, Smith Island, Mouth Of The

  Potomac River, Deep Hole, Saint George Island, Point No Point,

  Southwest Middle Grounds, and Deal Island.
