* Special Marine Warning for...

  Tidal Potomac from Indian Head to Cobb Island MD...



* Until 745 PM EDT.



* At 647 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Maryland

  Point, moving northeast at 5 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by 

           suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.



* Locations impacted include...

  Maryland Point, Nanjemoy Creek, Mathias Point, U.S. 301 Nice

  Memorial Bridge, Port Tobacco River, and Popes Creek.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are

expected.

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...



* Until 730 PM EDT.



* At 647 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Edgewater,

  moving east at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and large hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher 

           waves, lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on 

           board are wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if 

           possible. Large hail could result in injury and damage to 

           boats.



* Locations impacted include...

  Edgewater, Bethune Beach, Turtle Mound, Eldora, and Apollo Beach.
