...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WINDHAM COUNTY

THROUGH 745 PM EDT...



At 706 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Readsboro, or 13 miles southwest of Brattleboro, moving east at 35

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

North Vernon, Guilford Center, Whitneyville, Fairview Village, Grove,

Harrisville, Halifax, Vernon, Whitingham, Guilford, Packer Corner,

West Guilford, Green River, Jacksonville, West Halifax, and West

Brattleboro.

THROUGH 430 PM PDT...



At 406 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from Hanford Reservation to 10 miles northwest of

Benton City. Movement was northeast at 10 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.
