...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Val

Verde County through 1100 PM CDT...



At 1024 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Laughlin AFB, or near Del Rio, moving east at 30 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Del Rio, Laughlin AFB, Val Verde Park, Cienegas Terrace, and

Escondido Estates.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
