...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN BLOUNT...WESTERN ETOWAH

AND NORTH CENTRAL ST. CLAIR COUNTIES THROUGH 700 AM CDT...



At 612 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Fairview, or near Cleveland, moving east at 45 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

McLarty, Alabama International Dragway, Walnut Grove, Easley, Rainbow

City, Mountainboro, Rockledge, Altoona, Cleveland, Rosa, Fairview,

Aurora, Oneonta, Attalla, Allgood, Ramsey, Susan Moore, Nectar, Big

Wills Creek, and Chamblees Mill.
