...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WORCESTER COUNTY

THROUGH 500 AM EDT...



At 432 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Selbyville, or 7 miles northwest of Ocean City, moving east at 40

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



This strong thunderstorm will be near...

  Ocean Pines around 440 AM EDT.



Other locations impacted by this storm include Bishop, Showell,

Bishopville, Whaleyville, and West Ocean City.
