COUNTIES THROUGH 545 AM EDT...



At 500 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from Pamplin City to near Madisonville to near

Charlotte Court House. Movement was east at 45 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding 

         possible.



Strong thunderstorms will be near...

  Prospect and Darlington Heights around 505 AM EDT.

  Hampden Sydney around 510 AM EDT.

  Farmville, Longwood University, and Hampden Sydney College around 

  515 AM EDT.

  Rice and Green Bay around 525 AM EDT.

  Victoria and Burkeville around 530 AM EDT.

  Crewe around 535 AM EDT.



Other locations impacted by these storms include Raines Tavern,

Tuggle, Prince Edward Station, Angola, Briery, Arvins Store, Twin

Lakes State Park, Nutbush, The Falls, and Kingsville.
