...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CABARRUS AND

SOUTHEASTERN ROWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 745 AM EDT...



At 716 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9

miles east of Downtown Concord, or near Mt Pleasant, moving east at

40 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Gold Hill, Rockwell, High Rock, Mt Pleasant, and High Rock Lake.
