DICKENS...WESTERN KING...EASTERN MOTLEY...WESTERN COTTLE AND

NORTHWESTERN STONEWALL COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...



At 1133 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Cee Vee to 4 miles south

of Dumont to 4 miles northeast of Clairemont. Movement was northeast

at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Paducah, Jayton, Guthrie, Girard, Grow, Cee Vee, Dumont, Northfield,

Finney, Delwin, and Clairemont.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement

agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service

office in Lubbock Texas.
