...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL ONEIDA AND

NORTHWESTERN MADISON COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM EDT...



At 1138 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

Canastota, or 8 miles northwest of Oneida, moving northeast at 35

mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Rome, Oneida, Lee, Vienna, Canastota, Sylvan Beach, Blossvale, New

London, Verona Beach, and Delta Lake.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
