* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southwestern Green County in central Kentucky...

  Hart County in central Kentucky...

  Northeastern Warren County in south central Kentucky...

  Barren County in south central Kentucky...

  Western Metcalfe County in south central Kentucky...

  Eastern Edmonson County in south central Kentucky...



* Until 845 PM CDT.



* At 759 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles east of

  Plum Springs, moving east at 45 mph.



  HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 

           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 

           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 

           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



* Locations impacted include...

  Glasgow, Munfordville, Edmonton, Brownsville, Three Springs,

  Monroe, Horse Cave, Cave City, Smiths Grove, and Park City.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.



Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning

are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is

one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,

you are close enough to be struck by lightning.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for south central

and central Kentucky. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until

200 AM CDT for south central and central Kentucky.
