The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northwestern Lea County in southeastern New Mexico...



* Until 430 PM MDT.



* At 329 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of

  Caprock, or 31 miles northwest of Tatum, moving southeast at 20

  mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Caprock and Crossroads.
