The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southern Haralson County in northwestern Georgia...

  Northwestern Carroll County in northwestern Georgia...



* Until 200 AM EDT.



* At 110 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from Tallapoosa to I 20 Welcome Center to Chalafinnee,

  moving east at 25 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 

           to roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Villa Rica, Bremen, Temple, Tallapoosa, Mount Zion, Waco, Abilene,

  John Tanner State Park, and Bowdon Junction.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the

basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
