and northeastern Kentucky.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 AM EDT

FOR SOUTHEASTERN MARTIN AND NORTH CENTRAL PIKE COUNTIES...



At 1258 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Oppy, or 8

miles northwest of Williamson, moving east at 65 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

southeastern Martin and north central Pike Counties.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for southeastern

and northeastern Kentucky.



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.



To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.

They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in

JACKSON KY.



Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
