FOR LINCOLN...SOUTH CENTRAL IREDELL...NORTHWESTERN MECKLENBURG AND

NORTHERN GASTON COUNTIES...



At 626 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lincolnton, or

near High Shoals, moving east at 60 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 

         damage to trees and power lines.



Locations impacted include...

Westport, Davidson, High Shoals, Crouse, Huntersville, Croft,

Lincolnton, Cornelius, Boger City, and Northeast Charlotte.
