...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT

FOR WILLIAMSON AND NORTH CENTRAL TRAVIS COUNTIES...



At 849 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Leander, or 7

miles north of Cedar Park, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 

         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 

         roofs, and outbuildings.



Locations impacted include...

Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Taylor, Serenada, Leander, Hutto,

Liberty Hill, Jarrell, Florence, Weir, Georgetown Dam, Sun City,

Andice, Theon, Walburg, Schwertner, Jonah, Seward Junction, and

Brushy Creek.
